Too many footwear brands treat comfort as an afterthought — something you pay extra for, or give up entirely in the name of style. We started FAWOYE to prove that was wrong.

The Founder
Dami Fawoye founded FAWOYE in 2019 in Ilorin, Kwara State — not because footwear was a business opportunity, but because she was tired of choosing between shoes that looked right and shoes that felt right.
She taught herself the craft, refined it obsessively, and built a brand around one non-negotiable: every person who puts on a FAWOYE pair should feel it working with them, not against them.
Six years on, the brand has grown — but the belief hasn't changed. Comfort engineered into every pair until it becomes you.

How We Work
Step 01
It begins with touch. We handle every hide, every fabric, every lining before it enters the workshop. Only the materials that pass — the ones that feel right straight away — make it through. Premium leather. Linings that breathe. Soles that hold.
Step 02
Every pair starts with a pattern — measured, marked, and cut by hand. No two leathers are exactly alike, so no two cuts are approached the same way. Precision here determines everything that comes after.
Step 03
Stitched, lasted, and assembled by hand in our Ilorin workshop. This is where the shoe takes its shape — where the upper meets the sole, where the insole is fitted for the foot it will carry. No machines rushing the finish.
Step 04
Before anything ships, it gets worn. Every pair is tested for fit, flexibility, and feel. We're looking for the moment the shoe stops feeling like a shoe — when it just becomes part of you. That's the FAWOYE standard.

Wrapped with care and shipped across Nigeria — with UK delivery coming soon. From the workshop in Ilorin to your door, every pair makes the same journey with the same intention: to land exactly right.

FAWOYE is proudly from Ilorin, Kwara State — not Lagos, not Abuja, not London. Ilorin is where this started, and it is where the craft lives.
