Every FAWOYE pair is made to order in EU sizing. Because your shoes are crafted for you, getting the size right matters — this guide takes two minutes and saves a return. If you’re between sizes or unsure, message us on WhatsApp before you order and we’ll help you choose.
How to measure your feet
- Measure in the evening. Feet swell slightly during the day — evening measurements give the truest fit.
- Stand on a sheet of paper against a wall, heel touching the wall, wearing the socks you’d normally wear with the style you’re ordering.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe (it isn’t always the big toe) and measure from the wall-edge of the paper to the mark in centimetres.
- Measure both feet — most people have one slightly longer foot. Use the larger measurement.

Fit notes by style
Loafers and slip-ons should feel snug across the top of the foot when new — handmade leather relaxes and moulds to you within the first few wears. If you’re between sizes, take the smaller size.
Oxfords, derbies and monk straps are true to size. If you wear orthotics or thicker socks for the office, consider going up half a size.
Chelsea boots should grip at the ankle with a little room at the toe. True to size for most; wide feet may prefer half a size up.
Slides, mules and sandals should leave a small margin (about 0.5cm) of footbed beyond your heel and toes. If you’re between sizes, take the larger size.
Wide or narrow feet
Because every pair is made to order, we can often accommodate wider or narrower fits — tell us when you order, or message us on WhatsApp, and we’ll advise honestly whether the style you want will work for your foot.
Still unsure?
Send us your foot length in centimetres and the style you’re considering via WhatsApp or hello@fawoye.com and we’ll confirm your size before you order. Made to order means made for you — we’d rather answer twice than have you re-box a pair. Our 14-day returns policy covers unworn pairs if the fit still isn’t right.
